Why Attend a Church?

Why attend a Church (Community, CHRIST body, assembly, Bride of CHRIST, gather with kedoshim)?

What baby Christians don’t want to hear, but they need to hear it so they can mature and move from milk to meat in YESHUA.

Hebrews 5:13-14; 13 For anyone living on milk is inexperienced with the teaching about righteousness—he is an infant. 14 But solid food is for the mature, who through practice have their senses trained to discern both good and evil. TLV

There’s a prevalent misconception among many that attending church and receiving what they need is equivalent to serving ADONAI. This belief is rooted in the idea that service is about personal satisfaction and rewards rather than the true essence of service through obedience. They have no idea that ADONAI works through HIS community (church). It is through deep commitment to one another we are sharpened and mature. HIS glory is in HIS Church community.                                           Ephesians 3:20-21; 20 Now to HIM who is able to do far beyond all that we ask or imagine, by means of HIS power that works in us, 21 to HIM be the glory in the community of believers and in MASHIACH YESHUA throughout all generations forever and ever! Amen.

There are those who resist the call to be disciples and to be disciplined. They resemble children, demanding that their needs be met. When ELOHIM’s servants do not respond as they expect, they question their godliness. These individuals have yet to grasp the true cost of serving and the spiritual growth that comes from authentic servanthood. They believe they can reap the rewards without putting in the necessary effort. It is time to challenge these misconceptions and encourage a deeper understanding of service and spiritual growth. They move to “church” after “church,” getting what they think they want as their lives dry up, they drop from the vine (drop out of church), and they go through the same cycle of destruction that is their culture. Ephesians 4:10-16; 10 The One who came down is the same ONE who went up far above all the heavens, in order to fill all things. 11 HE HIMSELF gave some to be emissaries, some as prophets, some as proclaimers of the Good News, and some as shepherds and teachers— 12 to equip the kedoshim (Holy people) for the work of service, for building up the body of MASHIACH (CHRIST). 13 This will continue until we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of BEN ELOHOM—to mature adulthood, to the measure of the stature of MASHIACH fullness. 14 As a result, we are no longer to be like children, tossed around by the waves and blown all over by every wind of teaching, by the trickery of men with cunning in deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all ways into MASHIACH, who is the Head. 16 From HIM the whole body is fitted and held together by every supporting ligament. The proper working of each part produces the body’s growth, for building itself up in love.
