2025, A New Year!

We may give this question a moment or two as we edge toward New Year’s Day, but not many put any real effort into answering it. After all, who knows the future?
Only YAHWEH knows the future, and HE only gives this knowledge to those who “qualify” as faithful in bringing forth HIS plan. After all, YAHWEH is not interested in the plans of humans since they are so limited in love, Kingdom, and Eternal goals.”

The heart’s plans belong to man, but the tongue’s answer is from Adonai.
All a man’s ways are pure in his own eyes, but Adonai weighs the motives.
Commit whatever you do to Adonai, and your plans will succeed.
Adonai works everything out for HIS purpose—even the wicked for a day of disaster.
Adonai abhors all the proud in heart. Be assured, they will not go unpunished.
By mercy and truth is iniquity atoned, and by the fear of Adonai one avoids evil.
When one’s ways are pleasing to Adonai, HE makes even HIS enemies be at peace with him.

The heart of man plans his course, but Adonai directs his steps.
We can all justify the goals we are working towards. Still, our hearts are not to be trusted (Jeremiah 17:9). Those who “qualify” to know what the next year will bring are those who love and, therefore, fear displeasing AVINU (our FATHER) and are always attempting to put their hearts down and plead to have ears to hear, eyes to see, and the strength to follow HIS plan. Yet, ADONAI warns us not to give the sacred away to dogs or share pearls with pigs (Matthew 7:6). So maybe the question should be, what plan would be better to direct our steps, ours or HIS? Remember, HE will answer if we ask (Matthew 7:7), ensuring a Happy New!
