The Unhealthy Generation

In nearly twenty years, we have witnessed the blessings of the LORD on the children who have graduated and those who are advancing to the next grade in 2025!

I could present numerous statistics from dependable polls. However, it’s sufficient to note that the United States ranks 31st in the world in education, despite spending more per student than any other country. Education Rankings by Country 2025

Many graduates from public and private schools, including those who have earned honors, struggle with critical thinking and lack the discipline necessary for success.

Since our nation has sidelined or excluded CHRIST JESUS from its educational systems, our children have become less healthy spiritually, emotionally, physically, and mentally, leading to a decline in overall intelligence.

I came across a meme that said, “Prepare your child for Heaven, not Harvard.” Nowadays, many parents aim to equip their children for an Ivy League education or to excel in various fields. However, we have seen the outcomes of these goals over the last two generations, and many studies reveal that Ivy League schools and other educational goals fail to prepare our children for success in life. The Ivy League and public schools lost their credibility when they turned away from CHRIST JESUS.

Still Waters Community Church and International Academy rank CHRIST JESUS as the source of success in all areas of life.

As disciples of CHRIST JESUS, we can answer the central question in your child’s life: Why are you here?

You are here to know HIS LOVE through CHRIST JESUS. You are here to reflect HIM, our creator, in the remarkable unity of the diverse cultures you see around you today. You are here to live the abundant life HE has planned for you.

We believe what JESUS said in John 14:6; “I AM the way, the truth, and the life!

I want to give you some time this morning to consider a question: If you could give your child anything, what would it be? Love, power, beauty, joy, peace, knowledge, wealth, and the wisdom to understand how to utilize the gift you choose to give them.

What if I could tell you that you could give your children access to all these gifts and much more? Would you be willing to follow the Way, the Truth, and the Life, which is given only in CHRIST JESUS?

Faith in CHRIST JESUS will lead them to all truth and instill love in your child’s life because HE is love and HIS love is the most powerful force possible! HIS way is the only way to provide all we need to live a life of BOUNDLESS success, and HE will provide your children with the wisdom required to use all that HE bestows upon them (1 John 4:7-16, James 1:5).

This personal relationship with CHRIST JESUS and the gifts HE has provided are all we need to face life’s exciting challenges.

HE created us to find fulfillment in HIM and encourages us to come and reason with HIM who created all that was, is, and will be! In Jeremiah 33:3, we read HIS invitation: “Call to ME, and I will answer you—I will tell you great and hidden things, which you do not know.”

If you follow CHRIST JESUS, the giver of all good things, HE will welcome you among HIS people. HE will walk alongside you and your family, providing love and wisdom as you learn about HIM and HIS perfect plan for you and your children.
