Matthew 16:23
But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, satan! You are a stumbling block to Me, for you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but the things of men.”
Matthew 16:15-23
HE said, “But who do you say I am?”
Simon Peter answered, “YOU are the MESSIAH, the SON of the living GOD.”
YESHUA said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but MY FATHER who is in heaven! And I also tell you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build MY community; and the gates of Sheol will not overpower it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will have been forbidden in heaven and what you permit on earth will have been permitted in heaven.” Then HE ordered the disciples not to tell anyone that HE was the MESSIAH.
From that time on, YESHUA began to show HIS disciples that HE must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and ruling kohanim and Torah scholars, and be killed, and be raised on the third day.
Peter took HIM aside and began to rebuke HIM, saying, “Never, Master! This must never happen to YOU!”
But HE turned and said to Peter, “Get behind ME, satan! You are a stumbling block to ME, for you are not setting your mind on the things of GOD, but the things of men.”
Matthew 26:69
Meanwhile, Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard. A servant girl came over and said to him, “You were one of those with YESHUA the Galilean.”
Matthew 26:70
But Peter denied it in front of everyone. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said.
Matthew 26:71
Later, out by the gate, another servant girl noticed him and said to those standing around, “This man was with YESHUA of Nazareth.”
Matthew 26:72
Again Peter denied it, this time with an oath. “I don’t even know the man,” he said.
Matthew 26:73
A little later some of the other bystanders came over to Peter and said, “You must be one of them; we can tell by your Galilean accent.”
Matthew 26:74
Peter swore, “A curse on me if I’m lying —I don’t know the man!” And immediately the rooster crowed.
Matthew 26:75
Suddenly, YESHUA’s words flashed through Peter’s mind: Before the rooster crows, you will deny three times that you even know ME.”And he went away, weeping bitter.
Mark 16:9
“When YESHUA rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons.”
Matthew 28:9
“Suddenly YESHUA met them. “Greetings,” HE said. They came to HIM, clasped HIS feet and worshiped HIM.”
John 21:15
After breakfast
YESHUA asked Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, Do you love ME more than these?” “Yes, ADONAI,” Peter replied, “you know I love you. ”
“Then feed MY lambs.”
John 21:16
YESHUA repeated the question: “Simon son of John, do you love ME?”“Yes, ADONAI,” Peter said, “You know I love you.”“Then take care of MY Sheep,” YESHUA said.
John 21:17
HE said to him a third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love ME?”
Peter was grieved because HE said to him for a third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to HIM, “LORD, YOU know everything! YOU know that I love YOU!”
YESHUA said to him, “Feed MY sheep!”
Matthew 12:47-50
Someone said to Him, “Look, YOUR mother and YOUR brothers are standing outside, trying to speak to YOU.” But to the one telling HIM this, YESHUA responded, “Who is MY mother? And who are MY brothers?” Stretching out HIS hand toward HIS disciples, HE said, “Here are MY mother and MY brothers. For whoever does the will of MY FATHER in heaven, he is MY brother and sister and mother.”
