What Are You Seeking?

Psalm 63:1-4

A psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O YAHWEH, YOU are my YAHWEH, earnestly I seek YOU. My soul thirsts for YOU. My flesh longs for YOU in a dry and weary land, where there is no water. So, I looked for YOU in the Sanctuary, to see YOUR power and YOUR glory. Since YOUR lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise YOU.

Luke 5:26

Astonishment took hold of them, and they glorified YAHWEH,  and all were filled with awe, saying, “We’ve seen incredible things today!”

John 1:38-40

Yeshua turned around and saw them following. HE said to them, “What are YOU seeking?” They said to Him, “Rabbi” (Teacher), “Where are YOU staying? It was about the tenth hour.  Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, was one of the two who heard John (Baptist) speak and followed Yeshua. First, he finds his own brother Simon and tells him, “We’ve found the Mashiach!” (which is translated Anointed One).

John 6:24-35

So when the crowd realized that neither Yeshua nor His disciples were there, they got into the boats and set off for Capernaum to FIND HIM. When they found HIM on the other side of the sea, they said, “Rabbi, when did YOU get here?”  Yeshua responded to them, “Amen, amen I tell YOU, YOU seek ME not because YOU saw signs, but because YOU ate all the bread and were filled. Don’t work for food that spoils, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the SON of MAN will give to YOU. For on HIM, YAHWEH ha AVI has put the seal of approval.” Then they said to HIM, “What shall we do to perform the works of YAHWEH?” YESHUA answered them, “This is the work of YAHWEH to trust in the ONE HE sent.” So they said to HIM, “Then what sign do YOU perform, so that we may see and believe YOU? What work do YOU do? Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, ‘Out of heaven HE gave them bread to eat.’” Yeshua answered them, “Amen, amen I tell YOU, it isn’t Moses who has given YOU bread from heaven, but MY AVI gives YOU the true bread from heaven.  For the bread of YAHWEH is the ONE coming down from heaven and giving life to the world.” So they said to HIM, “Sir, give us this bread from now on!” YESHUA said to them, “I AM the bread of life. Whoever comes to ME will never be hungry, and whoever believes in ME will never be thirsty. 

John 6:60

So when many of HIS disciples heard this, they said, “This is a hard teaching. Who can listen to it?”
