Matthew 5:17

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the SPIRIT is SPIRIT. Do not be surprised that I said to you, “You all must be born from above.” The wind blows where it wishes and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone born of the SPIRIT.

John 13:15

Hebrews 2:14-18

Since the children have flesh and blood, HE too shared in their humanity so that by HIS death HE might break the power of him who holds the power of death-that is, the devil-and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. For surely it is not angels HE helps, but Abraham’s descendants. For this reason HE had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that HE might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to YAHWEH that HE might make atonement for the sins of the people. Because HE HIMSELF suffered when HE was tempted, HE is able to help those who are being tempted.

Hebrews 9:11-14

So CHRIST has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come. HE has entered that greater. more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands and is not part of this crated world. With HIS own blood-not even the blood of goats and calves-HE entered the Most HOLY Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever.

Hebrews 4:14-16

So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, YESHUA the SON of GOD, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This HIGH PRIEST of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet HE did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious GOD. There we will receive HIS mercy, and well find grace to help us when we need it most.

1 Peter 2:24

HE PERSONALLY carried our sins in HIS body on the cross (willingly offering HIMSELF on it, as on an altar of sacrifice), so that we might die to sin (becoming immune from the penalty and power of sin) and live for righteousness; for by HIS wounds you (who believe) have been healed.
